This release adds 26 new features and fixes 16 issues across 5 products.  Highlights include:

  • Several feature and bug fixes to problem areas in ArbiterOne, ArbiterWorks and ArbiterGame
  • Mass Delete bug fixed

 

ArbiterOne

New Features

  • Performance enhancements on the Master Schedule page.
  • Performance enhancements on the Pay Officials page.
  • Migrated the Premium Expiration Reminder email to the new architecture to improve reliability and performance.

Defect or Bug

  • Corrected an issue that allowed the default site and billto to be available when standardizing a team.
  • Item # 162426: Game reminder emails are now showing Position as expected.
  • Corrected a bad message when publishing games that tells you you are publishing 0 slots when you do have slots to publish. The count is now displayed correctly.
  • Item # 193671: Fixed an issue with the Beta Assignment page that was not showing Official block dates correctly.
  • Item # 160735: Corrected an issue that prevented some assigners from receiving decline emails.
  • Item # 197185: Fixed an issue with Mass Delete that would cause it to throw an internal server error.
  • Item # 162399: Officials can no longer see groups that they have been deleted from.

 

 

ArbiterGame

New Features

  • Added the ability to select and subscribe to all officials. Included in this item was a removal of a 500 official limit on the number you can subscribe to at once.
  • Official’s sports are now automatically added as they are subscribed to in a group for sports that they are eligible to work
  • When assigning officials to a game and Assigner now has the option to assign and move to the next slot.
  • The schedule view of a school admin has been changed, so that home games are now bolded, so they can be seen easily.
  • In the process of deleting a sub-site, you now have the option to decide where to put items related to that sub-site.
  • As a group admin you can now add users to your school.
  • Added ability to edit student information straight from the team roster page.
  • On the Teams page, the sort order for teams is now by sport, gender, then level.
  • If a home team deletes a game, the BillTo is removed and the site is set to TBA and the game is set to unaccepted for all assigned positions.
  • Updated the quick calendar to add a highlight for days with a game and now use the double arrows to jump forward or back a year.
  • Added the ability to get the schedule for a followed team through iCal, so I can add it to whatever calendar program or service I use.

Defect or Bug

  • Corrected an issue that prevented some facility requests from being sent through the SchoolDude integration.
  • Corrected an issue that prevented some transportation requests from being sent through the SchoolDude integration.
  • Updated the logic when changing an entity name, so that the site name is not updated.
  • Fixed the logic on transportation request return times to use the time indicated, instead of calculating based on the game duration.

 

ArbiterPay

New Features

  • Account balances are now allowed to go to $0.00. Previously the lowest balance you could still run transactions from was $0.10.

Defect or Bug

  • Corrected an issue that prevented the Demo user account from functioning properly.
  • Fixed a bug with the Inactive User report that would not allow a date to be selected and still run the report. The report now works as expected.
  • Removed the links to send email to the support team as they were non-functioning.
  • Updated the emails sent out of ArbiterPay to be sent through a new more reliable architecture.

 

ArbiterPay+

New Features

  • Made a change to consolidate all payment methods into one method for all ArbiterPay+ (AP+) payments.
  • Made changes to the paging buttons to be consistent on all other AP+ pages.
  • When an Official is added in AP+ that Official is now automatically ranked in the group, so they can be assigned with no further manipulation.
  • Added usage tracking to all pages.
  • We now allow payments to be added to a game after the game has been paid.
  • Added ability to reject payments in the approval process.

Defect or Bug

  • Corrected an issue that would not pass the assignment information done in AP+ back to the schedule in ArbiterOne.

 

ArbiterWorks

New Features

  • Added the ability to clear registrations that have not been completed.
  • Changed the help to make sure people understand they need to “answer all questions”, instead of “answer all tests.”
  • Added the ability to monitor test questions and limit the results to be answers of Officials who took the test from my sub-group only.
  • Added ability to set an expiration for a background check.
  • The registration process now checks for duplicate accounts before allowing a user to create a new account.
