July 29, 2015 (v30.3)

With the busy season approaching, we will be releasing scalability items over the coming weeks.  Look for continued performance updates over the next series of releases.

This release adds 14 new features and fixes 6 issues across 4 products. Highlights include:

  • Performance improvements to the blocked dates and users pages
  • Fixes to notifications to ArbiterLive followers

ArbiterOne

New Features

  • Improved performance on the blocked dates page by reducing the number of times it accesses the database
  • Improved performance on the users page
  • Updated the game reminder process to account for deleted games. This is in preparation for a change in mass deleting games. We will start marking games as deleted instead of removing them from the database immediately.

Defect or Bug

  • Fixed an error that clients were receiving when downloading or uploading the game or student import templates.
  • Fixed an issue that didn’t send an email when ArbiterGame admins chose to notify ArbiterLive followers of a change.
  • When someone chooses to follow a team on ArbiterLive, the confirmation email now sends them an email to sign up.
  • After changing the number of events to display in list view, it now changes back to page 1. Previously, when reducing the number of items per page could leave you on a page with no events showing.
