Updating your ArbiterPay Profile

The My Profile page in ArbiterPay houses all pertinent information for managing your account, from your identification information, to linked bank accounts for transferring your funds, and more.  This article will help you navigate your profile, and provides instructions on how to update your information.  Your profile is divided into six main sections:

 

User Information

Physical Address and Mailing Address

Bank Accounts

Profile Settings

My Preferences

 

 

User Information

The User Information page lists the identification information of the account holder.  Not only does this establish who has ownership of any funds in the account, but it is used to help identify the account holder should there be any questions on the account.  To update your User Information:

  1. Sign in to arbiterpay.com, and click on the My Profile tab on the left side of the page.
  2. By default, you will land on the User Information section of your profile, but if you need to get back to it, click on the User Information button along the top of the page.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Modify
  4. Update your profile information as needed. (Note:  You cannot update your Name, Social Security Number, and Date of Birth.  If you need to update that information, contact our Customer Support Department, and they will be able to help you with this matter.)
  5. Before you can save your information, you must authorize the changes by entering your Security Key/PIN, at the bottom of the page.
  6. Click Save.

Physical Address and Mailing Address

If you plan on receiving your funds by check, you will want make sure that your correct home and mailing addresses are on file.  Otherwise, you may inadvertently send your check to a stranger.  (Note:  If you ever send your check to wrong address, or need to cancel it for any reason, see this article [Jorge, add a hyperlink] for more information.)

To update your physical address:

  1. Sign in to arbiterpay.com and click on My Profile.
  2. Click on the Physical Address button above your profile information.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of your address information, and click on the Modify
  4. Update your address information as needed.
  5. Before you can save your information, you must authorize the changes by entering your Security Key/PIN, at the bottom of the page.
  6. Click Save.

 

To update your mailing address:

  1. Sign in to arbiterpay.com and click on My Profile.
  2. Click on the Mailing Address button above your profile information.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of your address information, click on the Modify
  4. Update your address information as needed. You can also check the box Same as Physical Address if you would prefer to use your physical address.
  5. Before you can save your information, you must authorize the changes by entering your Security Key/PIN, at the bottom of the page.
  6. Click Save.

Bank Accounts

The Bank Accounts page manages any bank accounts that you have linked to your ArbiterPay account.  For more information on adding or updating any bank account information, please click on this article. Adding/Editing Bank Accounts.

Profile Settings

My Preferences

The My Preferences page allows you to modify miscellaneous account preferences and features, such as:

  • Email Notifications – This will send you an email notification any time another ArbiterPay user deposits funds into your account.
  • Auto Debit Dues – Allows your assigner to automatically withdraw funds from your account to pay for membership dues.
  • Automatic Transfers – When active, this feature will automatically withdraw the funds from your account and send them to your bank account, or home address. For more information on this feature, see this article [insert hyperlink].
  • ArbiterPay Direct Payments – If your association has opted to pay officials via direct payments, then the funds will be sent to you directly, according to the payment method you have selected.

To update your preferences:

  1. Sign in to arbiterpay.com and click My Profile.
  2. Click on the My Preferences button above your profile information.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of your preferences information, and click on the Modify
  4. Before you can save your information, you must authorize the changes by entering your Security Key/PIN, at the bottom of the page.
