Disabling Pop-Up Blockers

If you are trying to print a report or download a file but nothing happens, your internet browser's pop-up blocker is probably preventing you from doing so. There are a few ways to overcome this problem. 

Look for the Notification

Most internet browsers will notify you when a pop-up is blocked. Here is how it looks for the following browsers and how to allow the pop up (Note: The Safari steps do not include the pop up message rather it shows were to disable them):

 

Google Chrome

Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox

Safari

 

Google Chrome

If you are using Google Chrome as your web browser, the pop-up blocker will appear to the far right of the web address/URL like it is displayed below. 

To allow the pop-up:

  1. Click on the red X indicated on the photo.
  2. Click on "Always allow pop-ups from www.arbitersports.com" and click on done.
  3. Try again to Print Preview the file and a file will open automatically.

Internet Explorer

If you use Internet Explorer as your web browser, the pop-up blocker will show in the bottom middle of the page as displayed below. 

To allow the pop-up:

  1. Click on "Options for this Site" option. 
  2. Click on "Always Allow" option and a new box will show.
  3. Click on "Retry" and the file will appear on the screen.

Mozilla Firefox

If you use Mozilla Firebox as your web browser, the pop-up will appear under the web address/URL as displayed below. 

To allow the pop-up:

  1. Click on "Options" to the far right of the pop up warning.
  2. Click on "Allow pop ups from www.arbitersports.com"
  3. The file will show up automatically on your screen, or click on "Print Preview" again.

Safari

 If you use Safari on a Mac, the steps are different compared to the other browsers since Mac has a different setting layout than a Windows computer.

To allow the pop-up:

  1. Open Safari and go to Preferences from the Safari menu on the top left.
  2. Click on Security. Deselect the box for "Block pop-up Windows"
