Site Issues 1/23/14

Currently we are experiencing a few minor issues with a couple of our web servers. Because of this some of our clients haven't been able to access our site. Other users have experienced slow response times on the website. This has been brought to our attention and it is our highest priority to fix immediately. Currently we do not have an estimated time as to when this will be fixed. Thank you for your continued patience and have a nice night.

    Performance issues from 3:45-6 pm, right now with both assigning and officials accounts. Just finally got a new game added after 2+ hours of trying. Need to finish reschedules for tomorrow but it will not go into assigning client.

    very poor performance of ARBITER today, most of day for my attempts to work on the system. Was unable to make assignment changes due to referees being unable to make games and I could not access ARBITER to assign a different referee for games today.

    ARBITER is very frustrating. Trying to cancel a game for tomorrow and cover officials who have turned back games today due to injury and I just sit and watch the wheel go round and can't connect. This has been constantly going on for months now and because of ARBITER issues yesterday could not cover an assignment due to not being able to speedily look for available officials. Happening again today. As I said FRUSTRATING!

    Trying to cancel one game scheduled for tomorrow and so far have been waiting on that for 20 minutes. Now have emails from three officials who need to cancel games today and can't get into system to work on available replacements. Will be hard to explain to coaches that show up with two teams and fans, etc. Why game can't be played because official didn't show up.

    Our team is tracking down the issue. We have been releasing incremental improvements that has made the site perform better overall. However, the issue that causes the site to run slow intermittently is still being researched. Our dev team is tracking this down and will release the fix as soon as it's available.

    We will be releasing performance improvements to a few key areas that will help with performance there. One is when sending emails after changing a game.

    Thanks for the heads up, I have been trying to send my officials a heads up to print their schedule and noticed them that Arbiter is having issues and to not count on me or the Arbiter to verify their schedule. just print and show up. I have to load playoff schedule tonight so will watch for update. I am currently on Server 10 and slow.

    This might not work for all refs, but one thing I do when I get assigned games and before

    for those having issues here is a option sent to me by one of my officials I will pass on to ALL my officials.
    I accept them is I copy them manually into my google calendar. That way, I have the information about each game even if arbiter is down. It's kind of a pain to do by hand (maybe you can suggest to arbitersports that they have an option that all accepted games are automatically sent to a specified calendar or something), but it's saved me a couple of times with arbiter's instability.

    When getting game I also copy them into my personal calendar in case I can't on ARBITER. Issue I am having today, as an assignor, is that I have emails from three referees that need to cancel games today (one death in family, one injury, one a work issue). Since ARBITER is down, not slow for me, I can't do anything in it since 8:30 AM today PST there is no way to remove the official from the game, see who is available to replace them.
    Costs me money in assignment fees and I get very unhappy school administrators and coaches because not enough officials show up for a game. I should have them call ARBITER customer support to complain.

    I have received so many emails the last few days that my officials and contacts are not getting game reminders.

    @Terri I checked the logs and see the reminder emails going out. Will you send an email to our support team with an official who isn't receiving those reminders. That way we can look at the specific case.
