Why can’t I see my officials when I’m assigning a game?

Can’t find a specific official for a game, but you swear they should be available for assigning?  Try these troubleshooting solutions:

 

The Official May be on a Different Page

The quickest way to find an official who might be on a different page; is to type in their last name in the Last Name Filter and click the Last Name Filter button.

 

The Official is Not Ranked

To see if an official is not ranked for a specific position, click on the Users tab, then click the Rank link in the upper left corner of the page.  On the Ranks page, use the drop-down menu in the middle of the page to move between each position that you assign for your sports.

Below the position name are two lists which contain the officials who are not ranked for the position (on the left), and officials who have been ranked for the position (on the right).  To rank an official, select them from the left box, enter a rank in the Rank box, and click the green right arrow.  Once the official has a rank, you can now find them when assigning and viewing the Issue Summary display.

You May Not be Displaying the Correct List of Officials

If you have done all of the above and you are still not able to find the official, you might be displaying the wrong list of officials when it comes to assigning. Go to your Assigning tab. Find a game in which you want to assign this official and click on the number of slots. Click on [Assign]. In the upper-left corner of the screen, there are four Display Options: Ranked Officials, Available Officials, Potential Officials, and Issue Summary.  To switch from one display to another, select the view you would like and click the [Get Results] button at the bottom of the Display Options section.

If you wish to pull a list of every official who is eligible to officiate at the assigned position, regardless of availability, use the Issue Summary display.  If your official has any conflict with accepting the assignment, you can view the issue codes for the official to see why.  If you still cannot see you official on this list, Submit a Request to our support staff and we will take a look at what could be causing the issue.
