Site Performance 2014-01-29

We experienced performance issues this morning and again this afternoon.  Our development team is working on the issue and will release a solution as soon as possible.

    Our team is tracking down the issue. We have been releasing incremental improvements (improvements to the slowest pages or queries) that has made the site perform better overall. However, the issue that causes the site to run slow intermittently is still being researched. Our dev team is tracking this down and will release the fix as soon as it's available.

    We will be releasing performance improvements later today or tomorrow to a few key areas that will help with performance. One is when sending emails after changing a game. These changes help alleviate the overall load on the server.

    The Arbiter is -- ONCE AGAIN TODAY, not working. At least the third day in a row. With this level of (LOUSY) performance you should cut your prices in half and issue refunds.

    Once again I'm having problems. I can't assign games or update officials information, how much longer will this problem continue.

    Am experiencing slow response for every task I try to perform today. This includes announcement changes, assigning entries and sorts, users tasks to name the most areas with stalled responses. .

    Experiencing the slow response for adding new games and editing games.The most current "add game" is still processing going on 5 + minutes.

    Going to cancel out of the game being added and see if has been added with completing the add screen response showing the added game number.

    Haven't been able to work since 10:20am PST. It's now 111:48am. I've lost an hour and a half of productivity.

    The game failed to add and I am unable to get back to the add screen to do the process again.

    This is simply complete BS!!! This site is the worst! It's always down!! If we all ran our business this way, we all would be working the damn corners!!! Bluezebrasports.com....they are another site I'm thinking about switching over to!! Your website is quick as hell to take our money!!

    Still unable to enter a new game. Unable to go from the Games & Assignments page to add a new game, both on server 17 on my pc and server 2 on my tablet. Unable to access site on my S4 cell phone.

    I'm also having problems, every night for the last three night, this is when I need to get on to see who is available and to reassign matches. This site is no good to me. I'm having trouble doing anything on the site. BS

    Since the NCAA purchased The Arbiter and made Jeff Triplet (sp?) the CEO the Arbiter has become absolutely worthless. I suggest everyone send e-mails to support@thearbiter.net, give them the game information you're trying to assign and tell them it's up to them to get it done.

    Assignors can't add games, I'm getting calls and e-mails from officials that they can't log on. Since the NCAA bought the Arbiter it's become trash. Time for refunds!

    Group ID: 105239 we cannot assign games today 1-30-14. I can access screens and then when clicking "assign" I get the spinning wheel of death for about 3 minutes, then it completely craps out on me.

    I appreciate your attempts to solve the problem. However, you are not providing your consumers any indication as to why these issue are occurring and when the long term fix will be implemented. Quite frankly, this is not acceptable. Many of us who assign do this avocationally. We simply don't have the time to invest that the "system" is requiring. You need to in some way compensate (a fee deduction) all of your users who have not received the premium service that have invested in.

    We had a snow event in Minnesota today. We had multiple games cancelled, moved, etc. Arbiter has been down basically all afternoon from 1pm CST on. We cannot access officials/sites contact lists, cannot suspend games, we are basically sitting here helpless atempting to piece things together through e-mails and phone calls. This is the reason we went to arbiter for our needs. It is my hope that we do not have officials drive to games or to the worng site due to arbiter not being able to do it's job. These problems have occurred intermitently over the past few weeks. This is un-acceptable. It is my sincere hope that there is a very thourough explanation coming from arbiter on what we can expect in the future. The lack of communication or communication that is very vague at best is not good practice.

    I've been with Arbiter since they started in their garage. It has always worked fine......UNITL the NCAA bought them out. Then things started going south and have just kept going as the NCAA seems to want everyone to do it "their" way.
